Privacy Policy

Gene Genie values the privacy of its customers. We will not pass on your contact details, or any information regarding your family, to third parties. Although we require certain personal information from you in order to carry out your research request, this information will be kept solely by us and only be used in conjunction with your order.

We will not re-use or publish the research we have carried out on your behalf. If you would be happy to allow us to use parts of your family history portfolio, or to include feedback from you, on our website then please let us know. However, we will not do this without your permission.

We will retain a copy of the research we have provided you with, along with your contact details, for a period of one year. This is so that, should you decide to request further services from Gene Genie, we will be able to refer back to the original research. We will not use this information for any other purpose.
